Horst's is situated at the southern tip of Crescent Beach. This location gives immediate access to the long sandy bar which stretches north past Beecher Street, the town's main beach access point. Leaving the serenity of Horst's, the "pulse" of Beacher is a leisurely five minute stroll along the beach, past the other beach homes. This sandy beach continues north of Beecher's pubs and restaurants, ending at the mouth of the Serpentine river at the Crescent Beach pier.
To the south of Horst's, Boundary Bay is squeezed by bluffs and the railway until the city of White Rock. There are no houses or groomed trails on this stretch of stunning natural Pacific coastal vistas. Tide-smoothed rocks and driftwood provide secluded tastes of BC normally only found on the west side of Vancouver Island. Beachcombers can hike to White Rock in about 2-3 hrs.
